“香油條腸粉 (炸兩) Rice noodle rolls filled with twisted cruller” / 中國飲食文化 中国饮食文化 Chinese Food Culture / SML.20130121.IP3.SQ

With a Crisply fried dough inside and a steamed smooth texture outside, this traditional Hong Kong dim sum is one of my favorite, and can usually only be had in noodle and congee shops. While most places often render the fried dough (twisted cruller) soggy inside, 正斗 Tasty Congee & Noodle Wantun Shop at IFC Central gave a nice rendition. Comes with soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame paste. A nice side dish for the evening.
