When I saw the bare feet on this half-man mannequin, I thought about last night’s show at DPAC with David Byrne of Talking Heads fame. What a unique musical esthetic. David and all 11 musicians (7 were percussionists), performed barefoot. It was ‘once in a lifetime’ perfection. Anyway, I wandered into @oxford_green in @Lafayettevillage to buy a gift for a friend’s birthday. The owner, Shawna is super creative with her displays. There’s even a triad vending machine full of crystals. Put in your change and turn the handle.
