Just moved to my new home. Reorganising the backup for all our pictures. Stumbled upon some older sets. This was the first abandoned location i explored. Hope you like the re-edit.

<< This is part of a crystal snowflake which fell on a hard floor and broke into three pieces. This one reminds me of a Llama which I immediately recognized >>

Still wandering through my hard drive clearing space. The Crystal Mill around Marble, CO, was on my bucket list quite a few years back. I had seen many photos of it in camera club competitions, so the SO and I made it one of the stops in our Fall Color loop. It's definitely NOT for the faint of heart - up a steep rough narrow mountain road. But it was a thrill to see it in person finally. So, this image a stack of 3 exposures.

It's hard to find those pesky shells when there are so many beautiful places to explore (@ maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Quararibea%20Cordata%20Isl... )

The piano is actually clear crystal, but I found out quickly that all kinds of colors are reflected. I finally figured out how to get it clear, but decided that I liked this best!

"It is the life of the crystal, the architect of the flake, the fire of the frost, the soul of the sunbeam. This crisp winter air is full of it."
