Experiences around early marriage in Ethiopia, Nepal, Uganda and Viet Nam

While early marriage has declined in some countries, poverty and discrimination persist and overall the pace of change is slow. Nearly a third of all girls in developing countries will be married before their 18th birthday, with most of these girls living in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. One in nine will be married before they turn 15.
