Believing in Dragons

 

Long time ago, in a realm where magic once flourished, a young wich named Lis discovered a dragon, the last of its kind. The world trembled in fear of the majestic creature, but she saw past the scaly exterior to the loneliness within.

 

As humans rallied to slay the dragon, Lis stood as its protector. She understood the creature's gentle heart and its desire for companionship. In the face of ignorance and hatred, she risked everything to shield her scaly friend.

 

Yet, the true monster emerged not from scales and fire but from the hearts of humans. Blinded by fear, they condemned the magical beings of the world. Despite Lis's efforts, the dragon perished, and magic faded away, leaving the realm bereft of enchantment.

 

In the end, the world lost not only a magnificent creature but also the magic that once connected all living things. Lis mourned the loss, knowing that the true extinction came from the darkness within the human soul.
