A peregrine falcon sat jealously watching a golden setting sun. As I approached, he stopped me. "Who are you, and what do you want of my sky?" he asked. "I'm just a man!" I exclaimed. "But I didn't realize that this was your sky?" "This IS my sky! My mother and father before me, taught me that this was my sky. They said I would rule this sky for as long as I lived." "I don't understand why we can't share the sky?" I replied. "I won't try to take it from you." He turned his back an looked adoringly at the golden sun as it crept below the horizon. "There is no room in my sky for one such as you! The sky is mine alone. In my world there is no place for sharing!" With that, he spread his wings and took to the air with the greatest of ease. He flew off into the distance, landing on another branch far from where I could be seen. He had reclaimed the sky for himself, free of me and any other human.
