Design Beatriz Sempere for @mytwils
The Brioche design is simple: the armchair undeniably calls to mind the shapes and colours of one of the most beloved comfort foods in the world, with the same enticing softness and the same golden hues.
There are two parts to the Brioche armchair: a padded backrest and the seat that it is wrapped all around, complete with an ample cushion. The armchair has a steel swivel base with matt black coating. A total lack of sharp corners and the soft fabric upholstery round off a design that revolves around comfort but has a smart, tidy appearance conceived not only for homes but also for the contract market and public spaces.

Brioche è un progetto semplice: una poltrona che innegabilmente ricorda i colori e le forme di uno dei più amati comfort food del mondo. La stessa seducente morbidezza, le stesse tonalità dorate.
La poltrona Brioche è composta da due volumi: uno schienale imbottito che avvolge in continuità l’abbondante cuscino della seduta. La poltrona è girevole, la base in acciaio verniciato nero opaco. L’assenza totale di spigoli e la morbidezza dei rivestimenti in tessuto chiudono il cerchio di un progetto devoto al comfort ma discretamente composto, pensato anche per il contract e gli spazi collettivi.
