Early autumn's been mild, so far, here in the UK and there are still plenty of fresh flowers in the garden — I’ll miss them when they’ve gone! Technical: background texture is digitally composited in — this involved *very* fiddly mask painting around every teeny tiny bit of flower. Note to self: sticking tiny flowers over a background you want to composite over makes for unnecessary work!!

My latest Forty Dolly Winks girl. I just adore her! Not only am I addicted to Christine's work (esp BL customs), I am even more thrilled to have her join my dolly family because I found out Brioche used to be Maribel's Mari, who is the VERY FIRST BLYTHE I ever saw on Flickr and the girl who started this whole obsession for me! :D
More welcome photos coming soon...I took some when she arrived, but I've fallen behind so I'm going to break a personal rule and post out of order!
I've spent most of the past 2 days working on this project. It's not that it's hard, it's just that unlike regular knitting which i can do pretty much by feel, brioche requires a bit of attention. and if a space out i'm sure to make a mistake. at least i'm getting better at being able to fix those mistakes. the gray side with just a hint of the colorful side is the one i prefer.
