When I worked with layout as well as writing and editing, I used color/colour wheels before sending to the printer.
Then came the do-everything-online times. Still fun, but I missed interacting with print shops. Some of the most calm and fun people I encountered in several states. Good to recall those people, as I would race there worried about deadlines.
One woman in New Orleans generally said,
"We'll do the best we can, Jan."
I keep thinking I can adopt that attitude and relax a bit. This is a reminder.
Must go look for a woman on Flickr who used Pantone in her work for fun.

Despite the bears, the skunks, the ramshackle leftover lodgings, the occasional potshots at prairie dogs, and because of my neighbors - the Fox Family Five, the tiny three-inch yellow birds, the blue birds, the horned toads, the fruit tree pruning deer, the patch of prairie dogs, the golden and bald eagles, the Banded Garden Spiders, the praying mantises, the coyotes - I love my little spot here on the Pantone Plateau.

Stamattina ero in una cartoleria di lusso e con grande meraviglia ho visto queste tazze-Pantone.. Ho pensato subito a bloodybee..
Sono riuscito a mescolare diversi colori per ottenere il tono giusto del verde con giallo, arancio e tre tipi di verde..

I bellissimi colori di lava solidificata visibili in alcuni punti dell'isola di Pantelleria. La natura offre una tavolozza incredibile di tonalità di rosso, arancione e ruggine.
