The eternal light of Knight templars (Domme/FR)

The Porte des Tours is a 13th-century gate that was once part of the city's fortifications. The gate was built by King Philip of France in 1281. Between 1307 and 1318It used as a prison for the Knights Templar accused of heresy and disbanded by the King of France in 1312. Evidence of which can still be seen in Templar Graffiti (Les Grafiti Templiers) engraved on the interior walls.
