"Image 201"
Following my recent shoot with Penelope, I decided I would have to post at least a second image from our shoot. After all, we shot about eight different looks that day, and this was one of my favorites. With my hanging roll of polypropylene in place, I asked Penelope to start striking poses. There were several I considered posting, but something about this one caught my attention. It reminded me of something Josephine Baker might have done nearly a hundred years ago. Penelope was lit from behind with one focused strobe. The only challenge was to play with her distance from the roll of diffusion. The closer she was to it, the sharper the image. This is clearly evident by the appearance of her left hand. As always, it was fascinating to play with light. Thanks for dropping by!!
