While I had committed to posting one image a day from that day, I had to make an exception. I was anxious to use my DIY V-flat, and thought that Penelope's dress would be a great contrast against the black board. There is a gridded beauty dish at camera-left, just left of camera. I pulled it back a bit, as it was only lighting her face when up close. While I had to raise the power on the strobe as I moved it back, it threw a wider pool of light.
