Vaughan Through the Ages: Music

Over the centuries music has transformed from mainly occupying a ceremonial function in mainstream society, to being part of our daily lives. Today, music has become a form of expression and as a result, is heavily varied. Through the invention of new instruments, lyrics, and genres, music continues to evolve, from its humble beginnings, some examples of which are illustrated in this exhibit.
