George and The 'Beauty Chorus', 1960's

Photograph of members of the Castator and Abey families, who formed a choir in the 1960’s. George Castator was the lead singer and the four women who accompanied him were known as the “Beauty Chorus.” In addition to choirs being formed as community groups and for religious worship, families also performed together.
