George Henry Parker Snr. 'the singing Blacksmith' Aug. 1960

Photograph of George Henry Parker Castator Senior working in his blacksmith shop (the family farm was located on Lot 1, Concession 6 – current day northwest corner of Weston Road and Yonge Street). Parker was known as the “singing blacksmith” as he often sang while he worked, as well as at community events.
