During the 1980s, he planted the seed for fashion in the music genre by selling custom made fashions out of his Harlem boutique, for thousands, from rolls of fake #LouisVuitton, Gucci and #Fendi prints imported from Korea. After #Gucci got trashed on #Twitter for literally stealing Dapper Dan’s exact designs in their resort collection show in Florence, Italy in May 2017, they put some #RespecOnIt and gave him a deal to reopen his Guccified #DapperDan boutique on Lenox Ave. in #Harlem. #ClapForThat!!
