Our water bottles froze with the condensation on the roof of the tent. The day before we hiked up and down vicious peaks, legs and lungs burning. The morning aches and pangs were nearly a welcome reminder of the glory we saw... nearly. The sun glistened across the icy surface of the peaks and the wind whipped up some lovely lenticular clouds. I won't soon forget this morning. . Top right- koi pond at that one place, I'm sure there's a story there, but I've since forgotten it. I think it was at the Getty Villa around the time I graduated from college. . BL - abandoned house New Zealand. We were driving to the southern tip of the island. Storms raged off and on, off and on. Light would burst through the clouds only to be covered up minutes later. It was a beautiful drive. We stopped and ran around this field for a few minutes to savor the moment. . BR - train tracks, Santa Barbara, CA. I graduated from college a few days before this was taken. My parents came out to celebrate with me, I took them to one of my favorite places in all the world: the redwoods. A couple friends joined and I had a wonderful time sharing something cherish so much. .
