A real delight to see several wild Golden Jackals in the area.
They were extremely cautious though. If they saw movement or smelt you they would be off very quickly.

Another version of "my" fog castle on a nice early spring morning last year. As the sun slowly gripped the castle, the fog dissolved, which temporarily blocked the view of the castle completely.
Eine andere Version "meiner" Nebelburg an einem schönen Vor-Frühlingsmorgen letztes Jahr. Während die Sonne so langsam die Burg erfasste löste sich der Nebel auf, der zeitweise die Sicht auf die Burg völlig verhinderte.

I find it interesting that I can feel the emotions in me that I felt when taking this photo. It was quite a storm as it approached our town.

Mi amigo Francis me llevó a fotografiar este impresionante rincón de Riotinto, fuimos a fotografiar el ocaso y así fue, peroooo siempre hay un pero jjj, donde estábamos haciendo la foto llovía como si nunca lo hubiese hecho y por consiguientes pillamos una mojadura de las grandes . Pero mereció la pena el poder disfrutar de estas vistas

I managed to get to Mote Park lake just in time to catch a few minutes of this early winter sunset - my first of this season. It was a very cold afternoon and the lake was frozen over as can be seen looking at the foreground.
With the high wind warning yesterday, we went to Fifty Point hoping to see high waves and a dramatic sky. Instead it was very calm and still with a dull grey sky!

My brother is coming to visit next week, He lives near Yosemite and this is one of many photos from a trip to visit him in 2014 and our little day trip to Yosemite National Park. I sure wish it was not on the opposite side of the continent!
