Woke up on the 1st day of October to calm winds and a beautiful glow over the Alps and Lake Lucerne. Oh how I love autumn sunrises! Hope everyone on flickr hand a great weekend. :-)

Guelph’s Covered Bridge is a landmark crossing the Speed River. This magnificent lattice bridge was built in 1992 by over 400 volunteers from the Timber Framers Guild. We haven't had any real winter weather yet, so I was happy to see the ice on the groynes at Fifty Point Conservation Area.
Por fin parece que la sequía llega a su fin y están apareciendo las primeras nievas aun que aun a mucha altura.

Due to excessive hunting in earlier years, very few elephants have tusks there. The animals with imposing teeth were hunted by trophy hunters and the genetic material could not be passed on to future generations.
