Ein weiteres Bild meiner Serie Herbst am Rhein bei Remagen spiele ich nun ein. Viele Kilometer kann man dort am Rhein spazieren gehen oder auch Fahrrad fahren. Es ist ein beliebtes Ausflugs-Ziel für Fotografen und Fahrradfahrer. Viel Spaß beim betrachten.

Looking up at the corner of Wacker Avenue and Franklin Street in Chicago's Loop, the elliptical shaped building on the left is the Hyatt Center. The building in the middle, located one block back, is the Franklin Center and the building on the right is 111 South Wacker.

A focus stacked, landscape image of fog over a pond in Perthshire, Scotland.
I had to focus stack this as the camera was hand held and there was not enough light to use a smaller aperture to get the depth of field I wanted without having to use a tripod. Good to be able to think on my feet though.

There is hardly a better place in my area to enjoy a perfect Autumn day than the open-air -museum in Detmold. We spent a whole day in beautiful sunshine without a cloud in this lovely location.
The LWL-Freilichtmuseum in Detmold is a great place to learn and experience the world of our ancestors. The open-air-museum is covered with buildings, tools, animals and plants of countryside life in Northwest Germany in the last couple of centuries. An endless source of inspiration for HDR photography.
In antiquity the island was proverbial for the alleged muteness of its frogs.During the Roman imperial period, Serifos was a place of exile. After 1204 it became a minor dependency of the Venetian dukes of the Archipelago. There 's nothing like cool temperatures and fresh air to raise the spirits. during my forays to the Alabama Hills the temperature can get up into the 100's and when they do, this is where I seek refuge. At around 9000 ft in elevation the difference in temperature is about 15 degrees and there nothing better the a fine mist that floats away from the falls right onto your weary soul.

Recently mother nature has changed the landscape here. lately I've been reminiscing from a weekend trip i did earlier in the year such a beautiful and amazing place. See more photos of that trip on my facebook page.
Als ich noch ein Kind war wanderten wir häufig, mit der Schule, zu diesem Häuschen, um einiges über die Natur, aber auch über die Geschichte unserer Heimat zu lernen.
Damals waren noch sogenannte Totenbretter an den Mauern des Häuschens befestigt, mit teilweise doch sehr skurillen Sprüchen der Verstorbenen darauf, denen sie zu ihrem letzten Gang an ihre ewige Ruhestätte dienten.

In those days were known dead boards attached to the walls of the cottage, with partial but very droll sayings of the deceased on which they served at their last transition in their eternal resting place.
