Das Sony Center ist ein Gebäudeensemble am Potsdamer Platz im Berliner Ortsteil Tiergarten des Bezirks Mitte. In einem der futuristischen sieben Gebäude – gegenüber der Philharmonie am Kemperplatz gelegen – befand sich ursprünglich die Europazentrale von Sony.

Marinella, nota anche come Marinella di Selinunte, è una frazione di 1.018 abitanti di Castelvetrano, comune italiano della provincia di Trapani in Sicilia.
Marinella assieme a Triscina è una delle due frazioni litoranee del comune di Castelvetrano, dal cui centro dista circa 13 chilometri. Marinella si trova in prossimità dell'area archeologica di Selinunte con cui limita ad ovest, al di là del fiume Selino.
L'abitato, sorto alla fine dell'Ottocento come porto di pescatori, si estende su un lungo litorale sabbioso. Oggi è un centro turistico-balneare. La pesca vi è ancora praticata con piccoli pescherecci a servizio delle attività turistiche. Tutti i giorni, intorno alle ore 8 nella Piazza Empedocle, si svolge il locale mercato del pesce.
Marinella, così come in misura maggiore Triscina, viene spesso citata come esempio di abusivismo edilizio di massa. Secondo alcuni studi urbanistici, a partire dagli anni settanta, sarebbero circa 1.500 le abitazioni edificate a Marinella senza alcuna autorizzazione.

Whitetail buck as seen in the backyard. A young guy with just four points but pretty good looking for around here. I took one more step and he was gone.
El Monte Perdido (3348m) debe su nombre a una traducción literal del francés: Mont Perdu, porque los franceses conocían su existencia, pero a simple vista no se divisaba desde sus valles, estaba oculto por otras montañas, perdido... Está en una zona preciosa del Pirineo, el valle de Ordesa, rodeado de montañas de tres mil metros. Un placer contemplarlo desde abajo, por ejemplo desde la célebre cascada "Cola de Caballo" (donde está tomada la foto) y , por supuesto, ascender a su cima.

I saw this church on the horizon as I drove into Stykkisholmur and I tried to find a place where I could get a shot with its surroundings rather than up close. I found this view with a traditional Icelandic house which seemed to be a nice contrast with the modern architecture of the church. The cat wandering across the bottom of the shot was an added bonus.
It was 10°C today, so the ice here may have melted. This was taken at sunrise a few days ago on the shores of Lake Ontario.

Τα Κορέστεια είναι μια ιστορική περιοχή της Δυτικής Μακεδονίας. Πρόκειται για μια συστάδα ορεινών οικισμών (Άνω και Κάτω Κρανιώνα, Χάλαρα, Άνω και Κάτω Μελάς, Μακροχώρι, Μαυρόκαµπος, Άγιος Αντώνιος, Γάβρος) που παρουσιάζουν έντονο αρχιτεκτονικό και πολιτισμικό ενδιαφέρον. Η παραδοσιακή αρχιτεκτονική των χωριών είναι ιδιαίτερη για την περιοχή της Δυτικής Μακεδονίας. Τα παλαιά σπίτια είναι κατασκευασμένα με πλίνθους με κοκκινόχωμα και άχυρο, που δίνουν το κοκκινωπό χρώμα στο τοπίο της περιοχής. Ο τρόπος κατασκευής των σπιτιών διατηρήθηκε έως τα μέσα του 20ου αιώνα και έπειτα εγκαταλείφθηκε.
Korestia is a historic region of Western Macedonia in Greece. It’s a cluster of mountain villages (Ano and Kato Kranionas, Halara, Ano and Kato Melas, Makrochori, Mavrokampos, Agios Antonios, Gavros) exhibiting strong architectural and cultural interest. The traditional architecture of the villages is great for the region of Western Macedonia. Old houses are constructed with handmade bricks with red clay and straw, giving a reddish color to the landscape. The construction of the houses was maintained until the mid-20th century and then abandoned.
Hay un lugar en el que la geología juega a las contradicciones, hay una playa pero no da al mar y hay una cueva que sí desemboca en el mar.
La cueva que da nombre a la playa, se nos aparece como una humilde entrada en la ladera que une la playa con la costa por el Este. Nada hace presagiar que a pocos metros de la entrada una sinfonía de colores aparecerá ante nuestros ojos.
La cueva se abre al mar, generalmente encrespado, como corresponde a un acantilado que da al mar Cantábrico. La desembocadura de la cueva es una sala en la que las formaciones geológicas típicas del carst, a causa de las algas microscópicas y de las sustancias minerales, aparecen teñidas de colores inimaginables entre los que predominan el verde, el rojo, el amarillo
