Der wahrscheinlich um das Jahr 1390 aus Basaltquadern und Feldbrandsteinen erbaute Mühlenturm wurde bei seinem Bau als südwestlicher Eck- und Wehrturm der Stadtbefestigung Zons auch schon gleichzeitig als Turmwindmühle konzipiert. Nach neuesten Erkenntnissen war die Zonser Mühle bereits damals mit einer drehbaren, zipfelförmigen Haube und einem Innenkrühwerk ausgestattet.
Seit der Stilllegung vor über 100 Jahren ist die gesamte innere Mühlentechnik mit
Mahlwerk und Getriebe bis heute glücklicherweise unverändert erhalten geblieben.

A proximité de Tournai, le village de Willemeau (649 habitants) a été fréquemment touché par d’importantes inondations. Afin de résoudre ce problème, il était devenu urgent de construire deux ouvrages de rétention des eaux sur le Ruisseau de la Place de Taintignies (bassin versant de 503 hectares), affluent du Ruisseau de Barges.
Après une étude hydrologique approfondie, en lieu et place du traditionnel bassin d’orage en béton, le Service public de Wallonie et la Province de Hainaut ont opté pour la mise en oeuvre d’une solution innovante et écologique : la zone d’immersion temporaire [ZIT].
La ZIT est constituée d’une digue en terre placée sur le cours d’eau qui permet la retenue des eaux sur des terrains naturels ou semi-naturels lors de périodes caractérisées par une pluviométrie abondante.
Ces aménagements s’inscrivent dans une démarche de développement durable. Ainsi la gestion des terres d’excavation a été optimisée dans un souci de réduction de l’empreinte écologique/carbone du chantier. Au strict bénéfice du développement de la nature, le chantier s’est même offert une pause le temps de laisser nicher un oiseau protégé, l’avocette élégante !

Das Blindenstadtmodell steht auf dem Rheintorplatz. Der Maßstab beträgt 1:400 und hat eine Größe von 118 x 90 cm.

Los pardillos, como otras avecillas, que por lo común viven en parejas independientes, se reúnen en bandos en invierno y merodean por los rastrojos. Los bandos pueden ser heterogéneo y compartidos con otras especies, como el verdecillo. También, la vivamente roja librea de los machos, se vuelve más discreta y poco perceptible, como se ve en el de esta foto, que toma el sol de la mañana en las ramas desnudas del árbol de una de las casas más próximas al campo y, aún así, en la tibieza de los rayos solares (que no queman las zonas claras y definen muy bien las plumas) y la noche que pasó por debajo de cero grados, presenta el plumaje ahuecado.

Zona de escalada deportiva en el oeste de la provincia de Zaragoza, en la localidad de Calcena, pequeña localidad situada al sur del Somontano del Moncayo.
La zona de escalada se localiza en el barranco de la Ojosa o de Calcena, que discurre de Sur a Norte.
