“Sucks, don't it? The moment you realize you don't know shit.”

If you are a fan of Stranger Things then maybe you'll get the mood of the title with the theme song straight from season 1 ;) This scene reminded me of something from The Upside Down... I'm all about the moody fog and atmosphere but there is a healthy fear I carry of getting lost. Or maybe being left behind. I have a vivid imagination and going through the mountain roads when they look like this stir up so many scenarios in my head ha! Sorry for posting so many images lately. I've had a lot on my mind and have found myself immersing myself in my work lately. It is now 3:00 am in my time zone, I guess I better call it a night or should I say morning. Hope your week is going good, thanks for putting up with all the extra images coming through.

xx

No, I didn't tie one on last night, but I think this represents pretty well how it feels... : D

India Point Park

Providence, Rhode Island

Remnants of the many piers that supported a once thriving commercial area on the Providence River. According to Wikipedia: "India Point was Providence's first port. It was established in 1680 and flourished as a center of maritime trade for 250 years. John Brown established his tea and spice trade with the East Indies here, which is what gives the park its name. India Point Park remained an important trade center until the Great Depression."

Also according to Wikipedia: "John Brown was an American merchant, slave trader, and statesman from Providence, Rhode Island. Together with his brothers Nicholas, Joseph and Moses, John was instrumental in founding Brown University (then known as the College of Rhode Island) and moving it to their family's former land in Providence." Interestingly (again according to Wikipedia), John Brown "was a powerful defender of slave trading, clashing aggressively—in newspapers, courts and politics—with his brother Moses, who had become an abolitionist." Holiday gatherings at the Brown household must have been real hoot!

Filters: Singh-Ray Gold-N-Blue Polarizer, LEE Mist Stripe, LEE ProGlass IRND 15-Stop

Technical notes: By the time I got set up for the shot, the fog I was counting on for effect started to dissipate and reveal the nearby shoreline across the way. The Mist Stripe filter neatly took care of this, eliminating the need to deal with it in post.

Big thanks to Emma for the paper shield and shin guards.

its been 2 days now since the infected took over birmingham.

They've closed off the city centre and put a barracade around the ring road.

We've had a stronghold setup in the bullring since yesterday. I broke out to get some scraps of food and caught this snap.

The end is nigh

Maybe it's the 'scrawled in blood out of sheer desperation' aspect to this graffiti that makes it feel just a little ominous. I've never seen The Walking Dead series but I somehow suspect this would be a regular feature.

I've always been a fan of the Zombie apocalypse theme. All in all, beyond the splatter, the films linked to survival have a primordial charm, and make us realize how precarious is the existence of man on planet Earth. Whether for a virus, or for some other strange event, we are always at risk of extinction. So, take your guns and knives, and fight until death! : P

Built during the Golden Era of Luxury Hotels, the long abandoned Hotel Sterling languishes in a state of condemnation and ruin in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, as the financially struggling community tries to decide the fate of this beloved community landmark.

Never one to allow the lack of proper equipment or skill to get in my way, I’ve attempted to make a video about the Sterling that (tries) to capture my sense of chaos & anxiety about the place…I apologize in advance to Green Day, Bruce Springsteen & anyone that actually wastes the almost 5 minutes of their time watching it! ;-)

"We won't get weak. That's not in us anymore. We'll make it work."

('Rick Grimes' 10-inch action figure by McFarlane Toys - Deluxe boxed set)

Southeast Division fall over 13 years ago. While scavengers had taken everything of value the police station garage hosted the insane parties, debauchery, and horror of the first clans established after the apocalypse started. Those clans, however, were wiped out by the second wave of zombies.

So Southeast lay still and lifeless for years less the overgrown vegetation, rodents, and random roaming wastelanders.

Jason and Krieger scanned the garage. The carnage and decay were par for the course but there was something about the abandoned Crown Victoria’s that gave them pause as they scanned for anything of use.

Jason murmured to Krieger that it would be a hoot to get one of these Vics running and turn it into a zombie ramming machine.

“These Vics were last made in ’11 I think. Body-on-frame, 4.6L V8 glory as I recall. Hit someone at 60 MPH and keep on going. No issues.” suggested Jason.

“Yeah, but there were gas-guzzling beasts. Where would we find that gas?” rebutted Krieger.
