Hands-on training

I dont have a clue what kind of spider this is. I thought his little web was pretty neat looking. He made it in an empty little flower pot. Mt Juliet, Tn.

I saw this as Jen (Jen's Photography) and I were headed back to the train station after we couldn't get in for the Bears game..

Leaf of Zigzag Goldenrod (Solidago flexicaulis), Pleasant Valley Conservancy. Despite what you see here, "zigzag" refers to the stem, not to the leaf.

This pattern is from the book Handknit Holidays by Melanie Falick. I substituted the yarn specified in the pattern with Hayfield Bonus Aran Tweed in the colourways: Fisher, Berry, Honeycomb, Galway and Beach. It's a bit crazy on the pastel side but it will be super cozy in winter!

If you look closely, you can see the lion's head, a symbol of the road to Baguio, at the buttom center.
