I went with dragonflies, seemed to go with the whole summer field thing! This is practice for another quilt I'm using a stencil for and don't want to mess up!

Zigzag quilt with small floral backing. I loved the difference between the strong bold front and soft sweet back. The colors were meant to be!

Hands-on training
Met behulp van een handige toolkit die bestaat uit Instructables trainden wij op 12 november 2014 onder andere docenten, schoolbegeleiders en onderwijsassistenten in het geven van deze ZigZag workshops. Op deze wijze willen we textiel-gerelateerd erfgoed levend houden en onder de aandacht brengen.

Rows are completed, not stitched to each other yet, I think I like this combination. Also toying with adding a strip of the Kona Cotton between the rows, maybe not...I saw one online that was made that way, it looked different, the quilter, quilted the zig zag pattern into the void. It looked interesting.

April 22 - Drove to Farley Mount Country Park junction car park and set off down the bridleway north through the woods and out the other side towards Sparshot, left onto a farm track then right onto another bridle way to the Stockbridge road, short mile on the road then left in Crawley village onto tracks again to Crawley down, Return same way with a turn round Farley woods to make it about 12 miles in the sun.
on the snowy banks of the ZigZag River, a beautiful morning on Mt Hood. Getting to the river's edge was no cakewalk but I like to stand by the cold cold water, rushing down the mountain's slope, always going going going. The shadows of the forest fall across my face.
My mom knit that hat for me. She's good like that.
