The spooky capture of Zigzag Mountain reveals it is not just a slope of Mount Hood, but a "volcanic mountain" itself, like many of the foothills surrounding Mount Hood. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zigzag_Mountain
Took a quick trip to Ellanor C. Lawrence park with the Intrepid view camera on a hot, code orange day. I absolutely love 4x5 and the whole process... composing behind a dark cloth, focusing using a loupe, adjusting the camera, and then stepping back to load the film and shoot; it isn't tedious at all, almost therapeutic.
Used massive dev chart to develop the film only to find out later that CatLABS listed 1:25 Rodinal as "not recommended" in their development guides. Oops, still came out with images so I'm happy.

Tudo bom com vocês? Olha eu aqui para mostrar foto antiga! :D
Gostaram? :D

Little Zigzag Falls, Near Mt. Hood, Oregon
I got to spend some time Sunday with Gary Randall. He took me up to Yocum Falls, just a little ways from Mt. Hood. Afterwards we took a short jot over to Little Zigzag Falls. We spent a short time shooting here at Little Zigzag, but it was well worth it to see this gorgeous waterfall.
This was a very full weekend of shooting for me. It started with shooting at Wahcella Falls with Brian and Chris. We ended the day at Bridal Veil. Sunday morning, I went down to shoot the Cherry Blossoms at waterfront park in downtown Portland. I got all of three shots when a new to Flickr Flickrite recognized me and came over to talk. I had a great conversation for some time with Jon Lesch. I spotted Ara, so I waved to her and she came over and joined the conversation. After Jon left, I talked to Ara for a few minutes then left to meet Gary. After the falls trips, I went to meet Lynn for an evening shoot with the Cherry Blossoms on the waterfront. When we were shooting, we bumped into Jon Asay taking a break from studying for Finals. The three of us made our way up to the Steel Bridge and shot down at the Cherry Blossoms. I met up with a lot of great photographers this weekend.
