Il y a toujours de la lumière dans chaque chose, chaque personne, chaque élément.
On le voit pas forcément au premier coup d’œil, mais quand on est curieux, que l'on prend le temps de regarder et d’écouter, de développer son empathie et que l'on pose les bonnes questions : la lumière jaillit, illumine et l'ombre est magnifié par elle.
Une réflexion que j'essaye d'appliquer au maximum dans mon travail et cela m'accomplie. S'apporter mutuellement est la clé.

YKK, abréviation de Yoshida Kōgyō Kabushiki gaisha (吉田工業株式会社?), est une entreprise japonaise fondée par Tadao Yoshida, à Nihonbashi, le 1er janvier 1934.
Créatrice de solutions pour les fixations, ses différents départements regroupent les fermetures à glissière, les rubans auto-agrippants, les boutons pression et rivets, les boucles en plastique, les rubans élastiques et sangles pour toutes les applications de la mode, des vêtements techniques, de l'ameublement, l'automobile, la maroquinerie, etc.
Le groupe est le leader sur le marché des produits et accessoires « d'attache ». Il est aussi présent dans l'industrie du bâtiment, la haute technologie (fibre optique) et l’agriculture.
En 2013, le groupe YKK emploie 38 235 personnes1 dans 70 pays avec plus de 250 usines et bureaux. Le chiffre d'affaires est alors supérieur à quatre milliards d'euros. En 2016, le chiffre d'affaires est proche de 742 milliards de yens (six milliards d'euros), et le groupe produit près de sept milliards de fermetures par an, soit la moitié de la production mondiale2.
YKK France, filiale française du groupe, fondée en 1967, a situé son siège social en région parisienne et, de façon à répondre aux besoins du marché, a, depuis 1972, établi son usine à Seclin, près de Lille.

Quilt made with Kona cotton fabric and the Big Zig pattern from Denyse Schmidt quilts. Final size is 62" x 78". Batting is cotton and the quilt was quilted with white threads at 1.25" intervals parallel to the green zig zags.
The Selfie Tour. On Belgium derps with Dursty, Pezar and Martin. Many selfies, lots of cool locations. Good times.

YSPMP beings it's arrival into UP's Belt yard after holding up at Hoffman Searchlight to let CP 499 depart St Paul. I was not expecting to get this train but when I saw a route lined out of East Minneapolis in the morning, I skipped the TC&W at Nicollet Island and went over to St Paul and scrambled for a shot before they got into the yard. Still nice to see four SD40s as the power set still on this and really nice that they have been having stacks right behind the power.
I met up this morining with a dozen other photographers for Gary Randall's photo walk up to Little Zig Zag Falls. I had a great time meeting the other photogs and had lunch and a beer with Jon Lesh and Gary Randall :)

The shot
Standard 3 exposure HDR [-2,0,+2EV] at f/7,1 using the Sigma 10-20mm lens on a tripod.
Photomatix
Tonemapped using the detail enhancer.
Photoshop
° The 0EV Shot was processed the same way and layered on top of the HDR, a black mask added
and painted in the parts where the tree showed too much movement due to the windy conditions.
° Shadows and highlights.
° Photo filter: warming filter.
° Noise reduction using smart object and a mask to only affect the sky.
° High pass sharpening ( See here for description ) with inverse mask of previous step.
