The Mitsubishi A6M Zero was a fighter operated by the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service (IJNAS) from 1940 to 1945. Since the A6M was designated as a Type 0 Carrier Fighter it was usually referred to by the Allies as the "Zero." It was considered the most capable carrier-based fighter in the world. Combining excellent maneuverability and very long range, it gained a legendary reputation in "dogfights" with a kill ratio of 12 to 1 until the Allied fighters began to outperform them. In the final years, it was used in "kamikaze" operations.

Before the movie Nightmare before Christmas Zero was just an ordinary pup. He tore holes in furniture. He jumped onto the kitchen table and ate the whole Halloween turkey. You know, ordinary puppy stuff.

I've made Zero out of white dyed merino wool using a technique called needle felting where I shape raw wool using little barbed needles.
