Mit Deutschland ist nix mehr los - überall bröselt und zerfällt es! :D Hier ein Kuhstall / Bauernhaus auf dem Gelände einer stark zerfallenen Ziegelei.

Die Höhenburg steht gerade mal 200 m entfernt von der Burg Sterrenstein. Beide Burgen werden auch die „Feindlichen Brüder“ genannt. Vermutlich wurde Burg Liebenstein im 13 Jhd, als Vorburg für die Burg Sterrenstein gebaut. Zwischen 1284 und 1290 wurde sie durch Albrecht von Löwenstein ausgebaut. Ab 1500 begann sie zu zerfallen und wurde erst ab 1977 restauriert. heute beherbergt die Ruine ein Hotel und ein Restaurant. Die Ruine gehört zum UNESCO-Welterbes Oberes Mittelrheintal
The hilltop castle is just 200 meters from the Castle Sterrenstein. Both castles are called the "Hostile Brothers". Presumably Liebenstein Castle was in the 13th century, built as a bailey of the castle Sterrenstein. Between 1284 and 1290 it was expanded by Albrecht von Lowenstein. From 1500 it began to fall apart and was restored beginning 1977. Today the ruin houses, a hotel and a restaurant.
The ruin belongs to the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley
