I'm in love with my new pink cardigan by Brandy Melville. It truly gives an oh so Vogue impression. In fact I love all their collections it's definitely one of my favorite stores even though still small and emerging.

I wore the cardigan here with a sequin flowered top by Forever21 during Paris Fashionweek to a casual dinner with friends. I styled them with this outstanding mini skirt by Topshop.

My wife had to do some cosmetics shopping at Nordstrom at Scottsdale Fashion Square. They plopped me down on a stool by the Yves Saint Laurent counter. I was fascinated by the lipstick. I have no idea what these cost. I have no clue how many colors there are.

The MetroDolls club regularly organizes doll themed luncheons to raise funds for charity. The theme for our 2013 event was "Style Evolution," celebrating iconic fashions and designers of the 20th century. We had doll versions of 4 definitive fashions made. The event committee asked me to do illustrations and flats of 3 of the fashions to help communicate the design and construction to the seamstresses. The resulting fashions are still for sale at the MetroDolls website in limited quantities.

This outfit is inspired by Yves Saint Laurent.

The day we visited the Majorelle Garden was Yves St. Laurent’s birthday, in celebration of which entry was free. There was a huge lineup o get in, but as we were with a guide we bypassed the lineup.

The Majorelle Garden (French: Jardin Majorelle) is a botanical garden in Marrakech, Morocco. It was created by the French Orientalist artist, Jacques Majorelle over almost forty years, starting in 1923. The property was the residence of the artist and his wife from 1923 until their divorce in the 1950s. In the 1980s, the property was purchased by the fashion designers, Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé who worked to restore it. Today, the garden and villa complex is open to the public. The villa houses the Islamic Art Museum of Marrakech, the Berber Museum and has recently opened the Musee Yves Saint Laurent.
