This shot, in my mind, has been over a year in the making. I stumbled across a Flickr account from "waldronyoung" of a few different trains at this spot. It took over a year and some creative scouting to find this location and find a way to shoot it. Everything lined up today and the consist was equally attractive. Here is A418 southbound on the Westlock Sub on the outskirts of St Albert, AB.

This was another one of Lally's great ideas brought to life. She truly has the patience of a saint...Through all our giggles and laughter, she pulls us all together... and as you can see there is a LOT of us and we were missing a few people of the Grove Art Club but we know and they know that they were in our hearts.

Happy new year, from my family to yours!!
Thank you to everyone who was apart of my SL this previous year, to the old friends who still are wanting to be my friends :P and to the new ones i have made along the way during the last year.
This year was a year of growth, a year of learning and a year of finding myself once more.
I want to thank all those who commented, liked and fav'd my pictures through the year your support means so much to me and it keeps me doing what i love in SL.
So once again thank you to all and i hope you have an amazing year ahead make new friends, form new bonds and strengthen current ones.

I know that year 2016 was not easy for everybody and for me too. But I hope for you, for me that the coming new year will be better. Thank you for your immense support during this year. These are Japanese New year cuisine "Osechi Ryori". Each food has its own meaning. For example, small fish dishes "Tazukuri" symbolize wishes for abundant harvests and the prosperity of descendants.

This winter treat burns like a red ruby in a glass.
About a year ago, I told someone I knew that I really like good cover versions of songs, so they gifted me with a list of their favourite twenty cover versions of songs. Anyway, long story short, last September I glanced at the list again, and suddenly thought about how much fun it might be to make a photo inspired by each of those songs.
This picture was inspired by song number 5 in the playlist, Dreams, originally done by Fleetwood Mac, but the version on my list is performed by The Electric Peanut Butter Company.
I'll admit, I struggled with this one a bit, and thus ended going for a fairly literal translation of a few key parts of the song, particularly focusing on the words: loneliness, heartbeat, rain, and crystal visions (literally, I am toying with a crystal heart in the rain, cold and alone).
Fun fact: While I was doing this particular photo shoot, I did get a bit distracted by a guy hitting on me while he stood nearby gawping at me. It was a nice enough chat, but it went nowhere in the end. It turns out, the romcoms might be rather overplaying the romantic side of two people being together in the rain.
Happy New Year everyone! Introducing Haidenton. I stole my husbands avatar (he's more of a World of Warcraft person) and gave him a glow up for some couples pics. Of course as the second life goes I found a shape and skin I like better for him after I took this picture. Still Enjoy!

I wish you and everyone out there a healthy and happy new year. This was my first real drone shot. I have been struggling with restricted zones where I live of areas that I feel compelled to photograph. I caught this one on an early morning. I hope you enjoy it.
As 2025 rolls around we reflect on what 2024 has been for each of us. For me a time of huge change, not least of which becoming 2 whole grandfathers as my son gave me a second grandchild. And so we enter the New Year with anticipation of what 2025 will bring.
Here's to a year filled with exciting adventures, meaningful connections, and dreams turning into reality. ¡Have an extraordinary New Year ahead!

I just returned from vacation so I'm a little (fashionably) late to the party, BUT I just wanted to wish everyone a happy new year full of love and happiness!
To my little love - You already know this, but 2024 was the greatest year for me because it was the year I had the privilege to call you mine.
