Deidre and Thorn took me walking one afternoon by the University of Iowa in Iowa City. I don't know the significance of this building or that, but I did enjoy the quiet beauty of the place.
Next to the steps up to one of the buildings was a small plaza with a low wall.

This morning we lit the Christ candle.
The center candle in the Advent wreath symbolizes the light of Jesus the Christ, whose birth we celebrate this day.
I very rarely manage to shoot, develop, and post the same day. It's fun once in a while.

The, "Neon Sign Museum," is a permanent outdoor installation. The plaque outside the installation notes that some of the neon signs were donated by owners who didn't want the signs to end up as scrap. They are all signs from a bygone era in Edmonton.
I like the little structure with the pipe going out of the roof and side to side from one building to the next
East Broad Top RR's M-7, a center cab diesel electric switcher, leads the returning excursion train around the wye at Orbisonia PA. In the distance, Rockhill Trolley Museum's York Railways car waits it's turn. Once the EBT train makes it's 3 point turn, the trolley will depart for the far end of the museum's trackage on the former Shade Gap Branch. October 22, 2022.
