Branches and the log.
On the way back from the lean-to to Hogsback.
Letchworth State Park on Friday, December 20. The snow was falling with a gentle breeze; temperature was just shy of 30F. It was beautiful as I headed out on the trail.

Thought I was done but I wasn't.
I was walking back to my car at Dublin Corners a few Friday evenings ago. I thought I was done taking photographs, but the sky demanded just one more. I leaned back against the hood of the car for stability.

February 26. I stopped at Heroes Brewing Company for a brew and a book (bring your own book). This delightful crew was having a grand time taking pictures of themselves with their phones. I put on my mask, wandered over and asked if they would like a shot of the whole group. I ended up taking several on a couple or three of their phones. Karen posted one on Instagram.
I had the Yashica-D with me. Of course had to show it to them. They loved it. And, of course, I had to use it to take a photograph of them. Given the low light and 400 speed film and no tripod, I had to open the aperture wide. I couldn't get the whole crew in focus, but I did get Karen.

Blessed be the winter sunshine.
A couple weeks ago at Letchworth State Park. I parked the car at the east side Hogsback Overlook. I walked south along the Finger Lakes Trail until sunset then headed back.
Then the sun dipped below the edge of the solid overcast and I had bright sunshine until almost sunset. I welcomed it happily.

The Letchworth "Geyser" is a natural spring on the grounds of the Glen Iris Inn at Letchworth State Park. During the winter it forms a tall ice column, already well melted by the time I took this photo. It is a beautiful spot year round.
You can see the falling mist in the lower left.

X squared for a reading chair.
Or, x**2 or even rectangled, perhaps. In keeping with my theme of chairs, this was the spot in Durand Eastman Park where I sat for my morning reading last Wednesday or so. The chair weighs just one pound, perfect for carrying in the daypack along with my coffee and prayer book and what not.
(I developed the roll of film Monday and scanned it last night. I was looking for something I could use for this week's @deviantArt WeeklyFotoChallenge. Got to frame nine and decided this was the one.)

Bottles and barrel.
A mostly unintentional double exposure. I took the photograph of the bottles in the rack with the window in the background, then got distracted. Later, I was not sure whether or not I had advanced the film. Rather than risk an empty frame (of which I have too many) I looked around for something that would work well standalone and might work well as a double exposure. The old wine barrel outside seemed a likely prospect.
Sunday afternoon Corky wanted to drive down to the Finger Lakes to visit one of her favorite wineries, Lucas Vineyards on Cayuga Lake. It was a beautiful day. www.instagram.com/lucasvineyards/
(Doing something new and different - starting at the last frame on the roll and progressing backward.)
