We watched this pride of lion getting chased by Buffalos.
The lions were mainly youngsters and they did not look really scared of the buffalos. It seemed like it was a funny game for them.
This was a crowded sighting.

I say 'unofficially" because in CTC there is no current of traffic, so there's no such thing as Wrong Main. Should I be worried about my existence?

RJCP-02 leaves Cresson with the NS 56K corn train. The crew decided to add the NS power ahead of their units as the trail NS motor was facing the wrong way for the return trip. Can't win them all.
Buildings that once belonged to Radstock Middle Pit, seen on Monday 21st September 1981. On that date the colliery's red brick chimney was extant, but I see from Google Street View that it has since been felled. These buildings remain, but Street View shows that the pleasing arched window has been tastefully blocked up with matching stone and others, of domestic appearance with uPVC frames, have been inserted high up in the wall leading out to the right. The circular window is still there. The lean-to with the corrugated iron roof has been extended forward. The colliery is known to have been active by 1801 and closed in 1933. I always had a slight prejudice against the North Somerset collieries because its buildings were of this pastey-faced stone, which I think is Blue Lias. I preferred the "pennant" (strictly Pen Nant) sandstone of the South Gloucestershire field. Middle Pit's shaft was of 10ft diameter to a depth of 1,791ft. The lorry is a period piece. Weren't those cabs called "Ergocabs" or something similar?

Delaware Lackawanna PO75 passes through Tobyhanna with DL #3602 and #3612 leading the train. It wasn’t until I the train entered the scene and I went to zoom in that I realized instead of having my 24-70 F/4 lens with me, I instead had my 35mm F/1.4 lens, and had to make due with framing it properly at the wide focal length. Thankfully, it worked out.
Wrong lens, wrong track, wrong rock, and wrong train as a loaded tailing train heads out of Silver Bay showing me how badly it can go wrong. Running down a cliff face to get a better angle on the closer track and realizing you have a telephoto on is fun.
Wrong way round 150132 pictured awaiting entry to the Doncaster Wabtec Works on 10/7/18. Contrary to appearances these are both cars from the unit which for some reason had been shunted cab to cab!!

I have had my gay brother and his partner visiting this weekend and I had a little chat with my brother about how upset I was when he made it clear that I would not be welcomed at his shared with four other people birthday party at the beginning of the year. it made me feel that he was embarrassed about me being trans and even though he said that all he was doing was not putting me into an awkward situation I still feel he doesn't know how to handle this side of me.
Oh well poor block will just have to get use to it lol

Sea of white snow in every direction. This tree entombed in a heavy sheet of bog ice and fresh snow.
I have taken an image of this tree before "The Shape of Nature" and find it ever-entertaining. Here for instance, it looks, to me anyway, as if it is flipping a middle finger to Mother Nature.
Either way, I like the isolation of this image.
