Happy Valentines Day

What love is...from 1Corinthians 13

par M. De Lévis, troisième édition, Paris Didot l'Aîné, 1808

I got some decent stuff. The Brickarmy stuff is definitely worth buying. Only thing is I'm bummed I only got the Spartan Laser proto. I just didn't know where the protos were at the Brickarms stand. Oh well, but due to this, I am looking for any protos. Trade or buy works for me. If you are willing to trade/sell any protos, please contact me!

Semisonic - 'Closing Time' lyric.

“Poetry is plucking at the heartstrings,

and making music with them.”

I finally finished my sewing project and had a lot of "scrids" (as I call them),

left over so needed (needled!?) to just play today. I made a few fabric postcards which will

go in the mail this week. I can't post my project yet, because it is with a jury right now.

Will be interesting to see if it gets approved or rejected! This was a first for me, as

I rarely enter contests.

Stay tuned!

Hope everyone had a beautiful weekend. We finally had a whiff of Spring!

Well. This looks pretty bad. It looked alot better on my computer. Oh well.

(And yes, I spelled believe wrong. On purpose.) :)

Week 9: I is for Illuminated

#104: Turquoise

In an automated car wash in Huntsville, Alabama

During the weekend of the 20/21st August I spend the weekend down in London. As part of the weekend I had a walk about down some of the back streets and I stumbled on this Graffiti. After closer inspection it turned out to be from a famous Graffiti artist called Banksy, more information about him here:

Taken as part of my 2011 photo project "a thousand different ways" - more information here:

I liked the fact that this metal storage closet had a conversion chart from 'liters' (sic - oh, Americans...) to cubic inches. Really I haven't seem much in the States that requires that conversion in a garage. #iphoneography #project365 #vashonisland

Notes: Black ink on yellowed paper. This pictorial bookplate depicts an animal, possibly a dog, prancing in a field. Surrounding the animal are flowers and leaves. Decorative borders, illustrated with vines, separate the bookplate owner's name from the illustration. ; Bookplate Type : Pictorial ; Bookplate Function : OwnershipThe name of the bookplate owner is difficult to discern, therefore the surname 'Hauply' is only a guess. The exact same bookplate featuring the name 'Gladys Reid' is also featured in the general bookplate collection. ; Personal
