Work has been so demanding recently, the spare time I've had has been used up in the garden. These muddy boots give you an indication of just how hard I've been working. ;-)
My photography has taken a back seat for a couple of weeks, I hope to get back into it soon.
We have been working on a previously useless part of the garden to create a vegetable patch.
The Drayton Local is shown here working the Crystal Sugar Plant just north of the local's namesake town, Drayton, ND. Again, leading the run back south to Grand Forks is BNSF SD60M 1439 in patched BN Whiteface
GTW 4917 is in South Memphis, north of Brooks Road on the old Grenada Sub, working at (I think) the Vanguard Soap facility.
With the steam sanders working well, Bulleid designed ‘Merchant Navy’ 4-6-2 no.35018 'British India Line’ battles up to Shap summit with the second of the seasons WCRC’s 'Santa Special' from Lancaster to Carlisle.
Chiltern Railways branded, DRS owned 68012 is captured flying through Princes Risborough, working 1T50 London Marylebone to Oxford. On the rear was Mk3 DVT 82309. 19/04/17.
The New Year kicked off for Bermagui Dune Care today at Cuttagee Head, trying to make headway against the jungle of weeds that have sprung up during the wet Summer.

OS68 was out for the most of today on route H2, so I went to one of the scenic locations for this photo.

An entertainer working the crowd on Key Street. I'm amazed that people are willing to practically stand right under a man juggling burning objects including one that looks like some sort of medieval weapon. He was getting great applause, though!
On a family vacation, I decided on one more grab of these EMD's working hard between Black Earth and Cross Plains before calling it off. T007 grain loads for Madison>Janesville>Chicago.

Being outdoors is where I belong. I would never trade it for an indoor office. This is my office and I'm keeping it.
The Star Ferry has been in service since 1888 and remains an important part of the Hong Kong scene. Rated by National Geographic as one of the best 50 places in the world to be and one of the top ten city boat rides, a one-way ticket nevertheless will cost you only 24 pence !
