Claims Workflow

Problem: How does a user revisit their claims after they retrieve their quote?

Recommendation: Redesign the claims workflow. (Example quote can be viewed in QA Homesite. Quote: 02332594, DOB: 8/14/1975, Zip Code: 19067. You must go back and delete previous losses and then continue to Purchase Page to view Claims Page.)

----------

Current Workflows:

1.A check for un-reported claims is done after clicking “Continue” on the Coverages Page. If the system finds claims that the user did not identify as “Previous Losses” on the Additional Information Page, the Claims Page is displayed.

a.If the user exits the Claims Page via the “Continue” button or the “Exit” link and then retrieves the quote at a later time, they are brought back to the Coverages Page. If they click the “Continue” button again, they are redirected to the Purchase Page. Where did the Claims Page go?

b.The Claims Page is only displayed one time. On a retrieve the user must navigate back to the Additional Information Page because on a save, the identified claims were added as “Previous Losses” and now can only be viewed if the user clicks the “Go Back” buttons and navigates back to the Additional Information Page.

c.Only if the user deletes these “Previous Loss” entries and navigates forward again towards the Purchase Page, they are presented the Claims Page again.

2.Claims Page: “I agree that the above Claims Information is correct”

a.Selecting “Yes” or “No” allows the user to continue to the Purchase Page and purchase.
