Rattle Big Black Bones

in the Danger zone

there's a rumblin' groan

down below

there's a big dark town

it's a place I've found

there's a world going on

UNDERGROUND

they're alive, they're awake

while the rest of the world is asleep

below the mine shaft roads

it will all unfold

there's a world going on

UNDERGROUND

all the roots hang down

swing from town to town

they are marching around

down under your boots

all the trucks unload

beyond the gopher holes

there's a world going on

UNDERGROUND

Minimum Wage Event with US Secretary Perez at Boloco. by Jay Baker at Bethesda, MD.

I spent several days with workers, in Bangkok and Pattaya. in construction site, on the top of high rises and in camps where they live with family. Here we are approximately 27 floor of a high rise in Bangkok. I think that I was much more afraid than this woman. She was so close to the border, and there was no protection.

Not strictly a Finsec event, but here's a few photos of the Service and Food Workers' Union Nga Ringa Tota rally in Wellington on International Cleaners Day.

The 'Fair Deal for Cleaners' campaign that this rally is part of aims to provide a voice to the low-waged largely immigrant female workforce, in cities across Australia and New Zealand, who are calling on big property owners to support decency in their workplaces.

there seems to always be construction happening here in hong kong no matter where you go! i noticed that it is not rare for the workers to be female. This surprises me since most construction workers in america are male.
