Local people working with what appear to be mini-axes...
I thought they were cleaning the pavements with toothbrushes at first.
At work I receive dozens of catalogs from type foundries and font houses. Font ads usually include a few sentences of "dummy type" so that you can see how the font looks in context. I like the "dummy type" they chose for this font. (The font is from a company called T26 and is called DUTY.)

Lieutenant General Peter Devlin, Chief of the Land Staff and the Army Regimental Sergeant Major Chief Warrant Officer Giovanni Moretti visit the Canadian troops deployed to southern Afghanistan. They took that opportunity to highlight the work the Canadian Army has done, and to receive feedback from the troops.
Task Force Kandahar will continue robust security operations in conjunction with the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Afghan National Security Forces, and its coalition and civilian partners in order to eliminate insurgent violence and set the conditions for successful and sustainable governance, development and peace in southern Afghanistan.

This is where I work everyday, writing code for The Man.
Not pictured: swank desk chair, leopard-print blanket.
One of the tool boxes I keep for work in the back of my van. It holds most of my basic hand tools I need for work. I got the tool box from an estate of a cabinet maker and it fits my needs better than any other that I have had. I also carry a canvas tool bag which I use to carry tools and small supplies to where I need them on the job site.
Day 120 [4-29-2016]
A day of work. So today was supposed to be a day of fun and art at my school but I was caught up with stress of ending school and my last minute school work. I have a problem with worrying, especially when it comes to finishing school. I constantly worry about the worst possible outcome and it freaks me out. I have been working very hard to complete my work but it has been leading to a lot of stress. I am done for the night and I need to rest. At least I snapped this cool self portrait to end my night.
Can't wait to see what the next day brings!

MOZAÏK Neck Work the concept of this new artistic project, which will also serve as a fundraiser for the Ottawa Arts Court in collaboration with the Downtown Rideau BIA is quite simple, it consists in the creation of artistic and funky necklaces created by the MOZAÏK artists, that grace the neck of models photographed semi-nude.
The ultimate goal: ---to create a new type of mozaïk that can be described as a «photographic necklace» for a building. This event is part of the Ottawa Fringe Festival. To be among the first to discover this amazing new concept, please visit our Website at : www.artmozaik.com/Neck_Work.html

The Human Mozaïk
I dressed at work for a few years pre-pandemic, but then lost my office when we were subject to a corporate buy-out. Since then I've worked from home and only went up to our office in Sydney a couple of times a year. One of those was for the Christmas party. This year I went up dressed. My closest colleagues have seen me dressed on Zoom but this was a first time for a lot of other people there.
The day went very well.
