190 yds, 2.5 oz BFL. This is half of the fiber. The other half is waiting to be spun The one barberpole bit you see near the top was just the leftovers - some pink I had to cut off earlier due to one ply being longer than the other, with leftover navy blue on the other ply. The rest is pretty evenly matched. I'm happy with my first attempt at striping yarn.
1-pound bag of mill ends from A.C. Moore. they let you use competitors' coupons for 40% or 50% (depending on the coupon) off. most of the stuff they have is acrylic or cotton, but this is wool, which I prefer.
Dyed using Greener Shades dye, this was the excess fluff that came off the carding machine. We will use it to make felt sheets.
