The Wolf snake (Lycodon aulicus capucinus) decided to play dead for awhile before become angry and biting like mad.
In the middle of the frame is the nemesis in my story of the eagles. First wolf that I could capture with my wee lens. The angle of this shot does not do him justice. He is huge! He was dragging the carcass uphill in violent jerking motions. His snarling teeth shots gave me the jibbers.
On the wall of the Magor marsh visitor centre. The eyes show really well here. This is a male Pardosa sp.
And there it was my first wolf!
The rest of the pack were with a kill, just behind the trees to the right.
Being English I never realized just how dangerous they could be.
They stood their ground, I backed off.
This wolf liked to be a poser. I like this photo as the wolf is in the perfect position and made the photo more interesting by standing behind the tree and having it in black and white, you can see the shadows and highlights more clearly on the trees and wolf.
