I have no idea when it comes to this kind of photography so basically just pointed the camera and pressed buttons
The timber wolf is a sociable animal who lives in a pack of a high hierarchy. Only the dominant male and his female, who form a loyal couple, can reproduce. The wolves hunt in packs, following an actual strategy. They spot their prey (usually a weak, young or old, or sick animal), circle it and then attack. These wolves used to be found all over North America, however with excessive hunting and the destruction of their habitat, their population was reduced in Canada. Nonetheless, the wolf is present in the entire province of Quebec except for the extreme south.

Roughly 2 inches long in total, and held still for a solid 2 minutes.
A friend found it outside for me, she knows I'm into bugs.
She didn't go quite so far as to catch it for me though, just came inside and got me.
Learning how to adjust metering, and also used my flash diffused through a semi-opaque piece of plastic. It's much better light than I can achieve with lamps, since my focal length isn't too high. Using plastic to diffuse it eliminates the shadow cast by my lens otherwise.

This wolf parka is my pride and joy. I personally harvested each and every one of the five wolves needed to make this fur, choosing the ones with only the finest skins. What makes this coat the warmest is the sheared beaver lining, a custom addition that makes this coat my very favorite.

Ahote' (pronounced Ah-hoe-tay) is a mix of Grey and Arctic Wolf. His mother is black, and his father is a white Arctic. Ahote's name, in the native American Hopi language, means 'The Restless One'.
Ahote' was born April 26, 2006, and now weighs about 90 lbs.
Ahote was so much fun to try to shoot today... and as is the meaning of his name he is one restless Dog!!!
