The person next to me at the bar, Nancy, is good friends with Chris Bianco, and managed to wheedle a fig, prosciutto, and red onion pizza out of him, despite it not being on the menu. Nancy was nice enough to share a slice with me, and it was phenomenal. The proscuitto was perfectly crispy and salty, nicely pairing with the tender and perfectly caramelized figs. This really, really worked well, almost as good as the wiseguy.

This bag isn't in the best condition, but I love it...it's the only ec bag that I actually use on a regular basis.
You just can't beat having expressive performers to photograph. :-)

The show was very enjoyable and very well lit. It's inspired by 'The Godfather' film...and how it came to be made.

My name is Vinnie. I get paid to take care of problems, ya know what I mean? Sometimes the problem is a thing, sometimes it's a person. Either way I gotta make the problem go away, ya know what I mean? After a hard day at the office a guy likes to relax, take it easy, ya know what I mean? I get home, I'm tired, I like to have a nice glass of wine, take some pictures of pretty flowers and post them on flickr, ya know what I mean?
I took hundreds of 3D's at Comicon this year, but this one was the winner. So, not wanting to bore you with the freaks and geeks, I present Moe...poking you in the eyes both literally and figuratively.
To view in stereo, sit 2-3 feet from the monitor and gently cross your eyes so that the two images become three. The one in the middle will be in 3d. If you are finding this difficult, you may be trying too hard. Viewing the original size is best.
Aren't these dudes the coolest!! I have many old black and white photos from my parents and grandparents, probably starting in the 1920s. My guess is that this is in the 1930s from my father's Bronx neighborhood.
FILM SOOC
Gosh, this was so cool. I shot this at the Wise Guys Concert in Dresden.
I just love the atmosphere at their concerts. Everybody is so enthusiastic!
Wise Guys, I heart you!
This was in a collection of old photos and Real Picture Postcards I recently purchased. These two crack me up with the matching hats and jacket.
right Wiseguy: what the hell is that?
left Wiseguy: I don't know, shoot it!
right Wiseguy: I am! my gun ain't bringing her down!
Lizzy: I am the Shadow. I have come for Northy's head, and you will die with him!
unkempt hirsute canine narration
one time i was on the old ferry across the narrows to glenelg
only four cars
people got out
mooched ‘n’ muttered
then the deckhand pointed excitedly
at a pod of arched backs
playing wiseguys in the rougher water
so sure of themselves
of their own identity
that sense of porpoise
another time
i watched a neighbour’s cat
walking along the top of a narrow gate
silently padding
just glad to have
a sense of pawpoise
maybe my problem was never having that drive
that raison d’etre
the ineffable sense of identity
so
i set myself a task
took me over twenty years
i got an old bike
strung onions over the bars
dressed myself in a stripy sweater
and
donned a beret left from my beat days
perfect disguise eh
the task was surreptitiously to count everyone in the country
be they young old or middling
every night
safe in some hostelry
i emptied my mind onto paper
reams of records
for each city town and village
man i was cookin’
i knew what it was to be me
then
one day
no more or less special than any other
it was done
maybe a dozen boxes
i loaded ‘em into a friend’s car
and
drove to the coastal path
found one of those “in memory of” benches
i didn’t even hesitate
feline phocoenidae and dreamer
all in one
i unloaded the boxes and left them there
millions of lives on one seat
watching the ocean
then
i simply walked away
met a mate in the pub and told him what i’d done
he said i’d taken leave of my census

Two coins with strange inscriptions.
During the Wiseguy's stay for repairs on Yavin 4, Grev and his brother Jason explored one of the many abandoned temples. They found a large, tipped pot with coins splayed from it, all eroded and broken. Except for two. Despite Grev's misgivings about temple robbing, Jason brought the two coins and hung them in the cockpit of the Wiseguy, hoping their luck would rub off onto the ship. At the exact moment Jason hung them up, Red and Grev arrived in the ship and told the luck seeker that repairs to the weapons systems had been completed. Jason proceeded to ignore their further impartation that the repairs had been finished 10 minutes earlier, and believed in the fortune of the coins.
