Wireless set in a suitcase for use by spies.

Total Wireless Cell Phone, Walmart, 4/2015, by Mike Mozart of TheToyChannel and JeepersMedia on YouTube

This is the right tier of my desk. Since it's closest to the door (directly in back of the camera), its most frequently used. I have my inbox, which is usually empty, because nobody uses paper at my school, so I put my Incase neoprene sleeve for my 13" MBP, and my iPad version there, as well as my Black Speck Hard-Shell case. On the top is my Duracell MyGrid wireless charger, which I won online. It's pretty useless, but fun to show off :) (There is a better pic of it somewhere else here). To the left, I put my writing stuff that used to be on the top, but I don't really write anymore, so it doesn't have to be there.

I participated in Beginner Line Dance class at the Senior Center. Then I worked out with my trainer at the country club fitness center. Next I drove to Publix and bought some groceries for us. I did not have water aerobics or swim lesson today. My teacher had a meeting at work plus it was sprinkling rain and lightning.

BTW: It has been neat communicating with David; in Dublin, Ireland; about my upcoming trip there. He has been very helpful with information.

Ordered a Pro Series Wireless RF Remote by Accessory Power from Amazon.

It works okay, but I do have some cons on it.

First off, the part that receives the signal mounts to the hotshoe. It does not use the hotshoe at all, but it mounts there. So you can't really attach external flashes or anything to your camera at the same time.

My trick around this is to turn it backwards so that it sits on the hotshoe, but there is still room for the on-camera flash to pop up enough to still access commander mode for any CLS systems.

But if you turn it backwards, every once and a while, the receiver will pick up the signal, but the shutter on release. Then it will queue the signal until it can shoot again. Once it can, it will just shoot and shoot and shoot and shoot and shoot and shoot until you take the battery out of the receiver and put them back in.

But it wasn't super expensive, and you get what you pay for. Overall, it serves its purpose.

the wire is hold in place using superglue. The wires are flattend with pliers. I also removed some exess isolation using a sharp knive.

Off I went to the Camera shop again. I have a new toy. It is a macro tube. You pay a silly amount of money for a hollow tube and then you add that to the lens and the yoghurt carton and voila we can see the bee’s tongue lapping at the pond water through a hole in the lily pad. I am having so much fun with these insects. My friend Val loaned me a special ring flash that you add to the end of your lens so that it all becomes even better. BUT you guessed it I prefer the yoghurt carton for diffusing the light. The wireless flash was just too flashy. Tomorrow I am seriously going to turn over EVERY rock in the garden.

Transdev Blazefield’s investment in Rosso continued with the entry into service from 28 October 2018 of sixteen new 11.7 metre Optare Versas for route 464 (Rochdale to Accrington). Fourteen of the new buses were painted lilac and purple with 464 route branding, including an illuminated 464 logo on the front panel, and a variety of promotional messages. The remaining two Versa were painted in grey and black Pride of the North livery.

All the new Versas featured Euro 6 emissions compliant Mercedes-Benz OM934LA engines, free 4G Wi-Fi, USB charging points, wireless charging at some seats, the latest Ticketer ticket machines with contactless payment, 41 seats upholstered in Transdev Blazefield’s bespoke moquette with colour co-ordinated leather headrests, and next stop announcements recorded by Rochdale resident Hannah Woodfin.

Versa 279 (YJ68FWD) with “my 464 to work and home again” branding was photographed at Rochdale Interchange on 21 November 2018. The rear of this bus promotes the comfortable seats, double glazing and glazed roof panels.

This location opened in August 2000; it was originally a PrimeCo, which opened in July 1999. It became a Sprint in winter 2016, which closed in 2020, and became part of a Shake Shack on October 23rd, 2024.

I brought my laptop to Daniel's swimming lessons yesterday thinking I could tinker with it while I waited or maybe even find some free internet access. Sure enough, 4 wireless networks showed up. Most were secured in some way or another. Except one.

Of course once I was online, my curiosity got the better of me. I had to know if this kind person left the default router password. As usual, they did.

As you can see in the pic, it looks like I wasn't the only one taking advantage of Juanita's ignorance... er... ah... generosity.

Mad props to Juanita and her kind. You made me a very happy person for 45 minutes.
