I shaped the ornament out of silver coloured copper wire and wrapped the beads to create this lovely ornament. Could be a tree ornament or maybe a suncatcher.
These Victorian style, romantic earrings with soft yellows and browns are created with different gauges of Sterling and Fine Silver. The oval frames are handformed and hammered for strength, then finely wrapped with thin wire. Curls and swirls decorate it's center and at the top daisy and tiny round Silver beads. Hanging at the bottom are clusters of gorgeous smooth Beer Quartz briolettes, surrounded with creamy white Keishi freshwater Pearl blossoms with a Hessonite Garnet bead in the middle, as well as tiny latte freshwater Pearls all wrapped on handmade balled head pins. On the sides of each earring are Smokey Quartz smooth briolettes with tiny creamy freshwater Pearls. The earrings are oxidized and handpolished for an antiqued finish and to bring alive all the tiny coiling details. Earrings hang 2" from Lever Backs. All Sterling and Fine Silver.
This is my boyfriend's purchase from the Renegade Craft Fair. The guy had all sorts of wire sculpted people, all with different personalities, clothes, props, etc. Really cool booth. His shop is called BAGizzles, the link is in my super long blog post here, if you're interested:
Usually, I work hard to eliminate overhewd wires from my photos, often resorting to Photoshop to remove them when they interfere with what I am interested in showing. This is especially so when I am working on architectural shots.
We were visiting Clarksburg, ON on Thursday and I noticed all the wires overhead which caught my interest, especially with the dark blue sky and clouds behind them. So I decised to focus on them and see what I could do, intentionally putting them into the frame.
Now I am trying to figure out if they work best in colour or B&W. I can't say I have a real preference, although I am leaning towards the B&W images.
There are four shots in this series. I would value your opinion and any critique on how the shots could have been improved.

Since I began this series of handmade pieces I have received a lot of interest in the wire mesh used to wrap the pearls and various minerals. So I have decided to make a silver pendant of just that.
The mesh, chain and clasp are all sterling silver.
Day 3. A little backlight with a speedlight in a yellow plastic bag and my phone's LED for some fill and the wires are a little more interesting.

I know many of you have probably seen something like this before but I thought it was interesting anyway. A tree growing around what was once probably a strand of a barbed-wire fence.
Looking at it in large size, you can also see other wires that the tree has grown around.
The new #guitar is wired and sounding fantastic!? 5 positions, bridge, both, neck, bridge with split neck, and split bridge.. versatile indeed!
