There was a bunch of wire near the train tracks today and I thought that they looked neat.

Spools of RED/White and RED/Yellow frame wire. Red/White is

used to "jumper" POTS lines. Red/Yellow is used to jumper DSL

lines. POTS stands for Plain Old Telephone Service. DSL stands

for Digital Subscriber Lines (High Speed Internet)

This is my first post with my new Canon EOS40D. This is a very common shot and i have seen many like this in flickr. But i was never able to acheive this depth using my previous cam canonSX10. So when i got a chance to shoot I tried out this one and it turned out to be like this. I am just learning the things in DSLR way.. :-) . Long way to go.

Barbed wire is everywhere, left after the revolution. When you are broke, you get very inventive with your surrrounds. It actually allieviates the necessitty for clothes pins.

Trip wire for bears around the tents. When it's tripped, flares shoot out to wake you up and try scare the bear.
