Wire brushes usually have a fairly short life as they are used/abused for rough cleaning of brick wrk or rust removal. This brush is quite new, hence it still has most of it's wire 'bristles'.

Another shot of my autumn series from my Blog.

I think the golden autumn here in germany is over. Today is the last day with lots of sun. Friday/Saturday its going to rain with 12(!) degrees. Anyways, cant wait to shoot some winter pictures with maybe lots of snow or ice! I also like pictures with a typicall grey and rainy melancholical autumn/winter mood. Luckily i´m a guy who dont care about seasons and try to get the most beautiful scenes every month.

By the way, i wanted to buy a Carl Zeiss 50mm Planar ZF2, but i think i´ll go for the Nikon 50mm 1.4G... But i´m still not sure... what do you think?

At a small town on the Tunisian coast (can't remember the name now) there was an open air art exhibition. This wonderful horse caught my attention. I never did discover who the artist was, as it was all written in Arabic.

It was very cold, and very windy, and there was a great café at hand for a hot coffee! :)

Day 147 - May 27, 2010

Yesterday Wired magazine released its first digital edition on the iPad, capitalizing on the touch and gesture based, multimedia capabilities of the device to deliver a magazine like no other.

Interactive elements allow you to play videos from within stories, drive a rover through the martian landscape, or flip through the contents of a Worchestershire sauce bottle.

In its first 24-hours on sale the magazine sold $24,000 copies. And although I find the $5/piece price a bit hefty, I'm confident this is where the future of publishing is headed.

Now if you don't mind, I have to get back to my reading. Weird though, reading a magazine isn't just about reading anymore.
