Your brain is considerably more complex wiring than you may think. The main interconnection between your left and right brain hemispheres has 200 million connections. Thus, each wire pair in this cable would represent on the order of 1 million nerves.

The wire man is something I made when I was around 11 years old (1991).

This was actually from a roll of 800T that I shot at 3200. I just couldn't get the colour to look half way decent so black and white it is.

Hello!!!!! Just a quick upload to say I'm back, and I've missed you all. We got in really late last night, after a looooong drive home. When I first downloaded this photo I was bummed that the telephone and power lines interfered with much of the shot. So I decided not to post it, and considered cloning the wires out in photoshop - but didn't have that kind of patience or skill. Everytime I went through the archives and saw this I'd wish there was a way to salvage the photo despite the intrusive wires covering two thirds of the photo. Then the other day I decided to crop some of the clouds I loved to just the area where there were wires to emphasize the part that originally bothered me. And I kind of like it now, especially viewed on black Funny how perceprtions can change with a little time. And what else could I call it?
My breakfast this morning....an Orange Cranberry Muffin and Double Expresso Vanilla Latte. I was wired all day....sugar and caffeine....yay!!! (Sorry about my shoe, FITS, lol )

went to the train graveyard with chris a while back, we got prety bored after just one shot as we have been to this place so many times so we opted for some wire wool madness...
This image of Wire Pass was taken in September 2013. We were headed into Buckskin Gulch by way of Wire Pass and reached this drop when we encountered some hikers on their way out. They said it was too muddy at the confluence of Wire Pass and Buckskin to go up or down stream. While we were talking it started to sprinkle so we took a few more shots as we worked our way back out. By the time we were out of the slot it was starting to pour, and as we made the short hike back to the car it was raining so hard that we were falling down in the mud and could barely see the trail. We drove down to Stateline campground and waited for the rain to stop before we set up our tent. Driving into the campground we crossed the wash that runs into Wire Pass, but it was not flowing. A couple hours later we heard water and walked down to the wash, which was flowing 15-20 feet across and about 18 inches deep. The next morning, given the weather conditions, we decided to go with our fallback plan and headed for an option on higher ground at White Pocket. Fortunately the rains that kept us out of Buckskin provided some wonderful pools for our first ever visit to White Pocket. This vertical panorama is three portrait-oriented frames high with seven exposures per frame (21 exposures total), shot with a 24mm tilt-shift lens.
