Impossible December pinks of our sasanqua camellia blossoms - doing so well because we haven't had a hard frost yet. I even found a tiny caterpillar on the bird bath this morning. Our Brown creeper returned this weekend for the winter while the sapsucker, white-throated sparrows, kinglets & more are all settled in for their busy winter months here. We haven't seen many yellow-rumped warblers yet - they may pick up later in the winter.
Looking forward to a big Christmas musical today - have a blessed Sunday everyone and pray for our country!

Winter from my deck....watercolors, ink, black thread stitching on an index card...#icad2016#icad day 23 Winter
Hey Friends,
two weeks ago I had my first winter shooting this year. It snowed in Berlin and a friend of mine and I decided very spontaneous to shoot. We hadn´t much time ´cause the night was coming very quick. These are the first three results. Tomorrow more ;)
Stay tuned and enjoy your Wednesday!
Cheers, Marcus

i call this side of the house, "the winter deck," as it's the only part of the house that gets ANY sunshine in the winter... but it's becoming nice and green in spring.
A recent view of colored clouds opposite the sunset. Color in the sky has been MIA for a while now, and today is going to be our coldest day (hopefully of the season). I'm ready to have the temps back in positive double digits.
The first snowflakes have fallen, the temperatures are freezing this Saturday morning. Stay Healthy, get your Boost.
Took this shot on a walk along the frozen Toronto harbourfront Sunday. I think I was drawn to all the repeating lines and patterns... looks like everything is waiting for Spring. This was before the arctic temperatures of today. It's currently -18C... with a high of -17C. Hope my friends are staying safe and warm.
