Winter my be beautiful but I'm getting pretty sick of the cold!
I miss going out to play in the grass and at the playgrounds with my daughter...I miss going to the farmers market on the weekend...I miss just sitting in my yard basking in the sun!
It will be here soon enough, I suppose. :)
Happy Wednesday!
But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats. Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it. But do this in a gentle and respectful way. Keep your conscience clear. Then if people speak against you, they will be ashamed when they see what a good life you live because you belong to Christ.
[1 Peter 3:14-16 NLT]
5 MORE THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW:
1. Like it or not, we are ALL sinners: As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous—not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.” (Romans 3:10-12 NLT)
2. The punishment for sin is death: When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. (Romans 5:12 NLT)
3. Jesus is our only hope: But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. (Romans 5:8 NLT) For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23 NLT)
4. SALVATION is by GRACE through FAITH in JESUS: God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. (Ephesians 2:8-10 NLT)
5. Accept Jesus and receive eternal life: If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9 NLT) But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. (John 1:12 NLT) And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life. (1 John 5:11-12 NLT)
Read the Bible for yourself. Allow the Lord to speak to you through his Word. YOUR ETERNITY IS AT STAKE!
There is a small problem with winter scenes, when there is no snow. They often come out very grey. I think this shot would be much better, if the trees were green, so I will definitely stop by this place again sometime in the summer :)

Winter storm Grayson rolled through Virginia last night and so today I shot a few photos through our window. Here is some scattered debris that the wind kicked from the trees. (And to my Ohio friends...they use the term "blizzard" around here very loosely LOL)

I really appreciate your comments and faves. I'm not a hoarder of contacts, but enjoy real-life, honest people. You are much more likely to get my comments and faves in return if you fit the latter description. Just sayin. :oD

Yesterday began with rain which turned to snow along with high winds. The snow clung to the window screens and created a pretty framework. This morning we woke to subzero temps and bright sundogs.
I have nothing interesting to post, the well is dry! I have stumbled on these.
I wanted to shoot some 'country' but it's snow storming again. My daughter was pissed
that I'm playing Rascal Flatts(which is not even too country) over and over... the songs are sticking in her head!
Not all are pretty during winter.
Remnants of Fall are trashed on dirty ice.
I should have moved the ones that almost shaped like a heart to add cheesiness. I like cheesy stuffs. It sells! A lot of people got rich from being cheesy.
Comment, leave notes, put tag or fav at your own risk.
Have a great day to all!

I am fascinated with 4x4 cropping and photographs in the street.
I shall be trying to learn, understand and execute these for days to come.
